EDUCATIONAL WORK OF CENTER FOR FORMATION OF HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AT THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

As part of the program on promotion of the healthy lifestyles and disease prevention “ACHIEVE HEALTHY NUMBERS!” Center for formation of Healthy Lifestyle held an event on the prevention of circulatory system diseases at the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan on June 20, 2023.

Doctors of the Center, G.Sakanova, G.Turdunova made presentations on “High blood pressure and cardiovascular risk. Preventive measures”, “Nutrition as a controllable risk factor for BCS development”.

The attendees took an active part in discussing the topic and asking questions.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees were given informational and educational material (handouts): “Nutrition - as a manageable factor of BCS”, “Facts about smoking”, “Sedentary lifestyle”, “What is important to know about salt intake”, “Stroke prevention”, “Uric acid”, “Health without smoking”.

The goal of the event - to raise public awareness and draw attention to the prevention and risk factors of BCS was achieved, as evidenced by the feedback received from attendees. 29 people attended the meeting.
