AWARENESS CAMPAIGN BY HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CENTER STAFF AT THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The employees of the Healthy Lifestyle Center held an event in accordance with the “Plan of operative anti-epidemic measures for the prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections”, as well as within the Program on formation of healthy lifestyle habits and disease prevention “ACHIEVE HEALTHY NUMBERS!” on September 13, 2023 in the Ministry of Education.

Purpose: to raise public awareness and attention to the prevention of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections, to increase attention to risk factors that provoke the development of hypertension and its complications.

B. Bekishuly, general practitioner made a presentation on the topic: “Influenza. Acute respiratory viral infections, prevention”. G. Sakanova, doctor - methodologist of Healthy Lifestyle Center made a presentation on: “High blood pressure and cardiovascular risk”.

The audience took an active part in discussing the topics and asked questions (about vaccination, preventive measures and best prevention methods).

At the end of the meeting, the attendees were handed out leaflets on these topics. 54 employees of the Ministry were present.
