Simply about medicine

  07.06.2021
During the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of information about the new coronavirus infection and vaccination can be found on the Internet, among which, unfortunately, there are quite a few distorted and unreliable data. It is difficult for people without medical education to understand this and understand where the correct information is and where it is not.

Conducting explanatory work with the population is one of the tasks of the Healthy Lifestyle Center of the Presidential Hospital.

Thus, the staff of the Healthy Lifestyle Center regularly informs the attached population of the Presidential Hospital on health promotion and disease prevention, including COVID-19. Such sessions are held in plain language, with visual examples, with reference only to reliable sources.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, the Healthy Lifestyle Center has been conducting explanatory work with the attached population about the benefits of vaccination in the format of a ZOOM conference. It is told:
  • why is it important to get vaccinated
  • who is subject to vaccination
  • what is a contraindication to vaccination against COVID-19
  • what do we risk without getting vaccinated, etc. They answer all questions about vaccines used in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Feedback from one of these ZOOM conferences, which was held on May 12, 2021 with employees of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, showed the importance of the explanatory work carried out in the fight against the pandemic, which was reflected in a thank you letter from B.I. Altynbekova, the Director of Human Resources Department.

It is worth noting that the staff of the Healthy Lifestyle Center hold such conferences not only with the contingent attached to the Presidential Hospital, but also with the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

So, on May 5, 2021, Gulnara Turdunova was invited by the Semey Medical University NPJSC as a speaker at a webinar on “Healthy nutrition-the basis of disease prevention”, and on May 27, 2021, she held a ZOOM conference on the current topic of COVID-19 vaccination.
