COOPERATION BETWEEN “GENERAL ELECTRIC HEALTHCARE” OF AMERICA AND MEDICAL CENTER OF THE PRESIDENT’S AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Today representatives of “General Electric Healthcare”, the USA’s largest multinational conglomerate company, visited the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by the Head of Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Tsoy, Director of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rustam Albayev, Medical Center representatives, physicians and staff members. The “General Electric Healthcare” delegation was led by Dmitry Zanchev, Deputy General Director and Director of Business Development for the Central Asia region.

At the meeting, representatives of the company showed an initiative on cooperation between GE Healthcare and Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the delivery of integrated solutions based on high-tech medical equipment, equipment of nuclear medicine centers, service maintenance of high-tech medical equipment, implementation of educational programs and trainings, cooperation in the field of digital health.

On his part, the head of the Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alexey Tsoy stressed the importance of the meeting and expressed confidence that new opportunities will open before both sides. The parties discussed further cooperation in the field of medical technology.

Following the official part of the meeting, representatives of “General Electric Healthcare” received information about the scope and types of therapeutic care, the work of the Diagnostic Unit (CT and MRI), the Neurology Department, the Rehabilitation Center, the Cyclotron Production Complex and the Check-up Department.

The parties reached a mutual agreement at the end of the meeting and agreed to continue cooperation in order to further strengthen bilateral relations.
