Seminar on the topic “Advices for Writing Medical Clinical Cases” was held at the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The lecturer noted why it is so important to write and publish clinical cases. Clinical case descriptions do not just provide new information. By publishing clinical cases, physicians contribute to the current evidence base in medicine. Findings and hypotheses will lead to the development of new treatments.

Due to the opening of new facilities - the Diagnostic and Treatment Block and the Nuclear Medicine Center, as well as the creation of new workplaces and the expansion of the Hospital, staff training plays an important role in raising awareness of the Hospital’s scientific activities. 

The physicians listened the lecture with great interest. The trainees gained new and useful skills in writing scientific articles and compiling clinical cases.

Lecturer Abduzhappar Gaipov is a certified nephrologist in Kazakhstan. Active member of ISN, ERA-EDTA, TTS, Society of Transplantologists of the Turkic World and General Secretary of the Kazakhstan Society of Nephrologists, Dialysis specialists and Transplantologists. Board Member of YNP (ERA-EDTA), YNC (ISN), and regional vice-chairman of ISN NIS and Russian region. He is currently an assistant professor at Nazarbayev University School of Medicine. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and is an editor and reviewer for many journals.
