Institution Presentation
It was founded on December 9, 1992 as Kadiköy Medical Imaging Trade Limited Company. Sonomed brand literally means; It emerged as a combination of the abbreviations of the words "Sonography" and "Medical".
On April 1, 1996, it moved to Egitim Mahallesi, Fahrettin Kerim Gökay Caddesi, Poyraz Sokak, No:7 Ziverbey, Kadıköy, İstanbul (Sonomed Plaza, where it still operates).
On April 21, 2001, Sonomed Kadiköy turned into a Medical Imaging and Health Services Trade Joint Stock Company.
It currently operates in an 11-storey building with an imaging center on four floors and a 3,000 m^2, closed area with a parking lot for 26 vehicles.
Since 1992, the name Sonomed has been identified with the concept of quality in imaging and laboratory services.
In August 2020, Sonomed Istanbul opened its branch in Fulya, European Side, and in March
2021, Sonomed Atasehir branch. With the center opened on the main streets in Fulya and
Atasehir, Sonomed quality was presented to the medical world in three important points such as Istanbut Kadiköy, Fulya and Atasehir.
