Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The Center was organized on the basis of the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-3071 dated from June 20, 2017 "On measures for further development of specialized medical care to the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021". The Charter of the Center was approved on February 26, 2018.
The bed capacity is 270 beds, more than 3 thousand high-tech operations are performed annually, outpatient visits are more than 50 thousand annually. The Center is staffed by 88 doctors, including 7 doctors of sciences, 4 professors, 24 candidates of medical sciences, PhD - 6.
RSPMCTO is the head institution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in
orthopedic traumatology and coordinator of organizational and methodological
work in all regional and district specialized institutions of the country.
