Obstetrics and Gynecology Department

About the Department
The Obstetric and Gynecology Department is an important component of the outpatient unit of the Presidential Hospital. The Department is located in blocks C2, B1 and B2 on the 4^th floor. Specialists of the Department provide outpatient dynamic monitoring and treatment, including patients from among the attached contingent. Consultative and diagnostic monitoring of pregnant women, as well as women with impaired reproductive function. Medical and genetic counseling, ultrasound screening of pregnant women.

Services of the Department

Obstetrician-gynecologist

• Dispensary monitoring of pregnant women in order to prevent and early detect complications of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period
• Preparation for pregnancy and childbirth

Gynecologist-endocrinologist

• Selection of an individual program for the diagnosis and treatment of infertility
• Diagnosis and treatment of menstrual cycle disorders
• Diagnostics and treatment of menopausal syndrome
• Selection of menopausal hormone therapy

Medical and genetic

• Identification and warning of future parents about the possibility of the birth of a child with a developmental pathology

Ultrasound diagnostics

• Screening ultrasound examination of the fetus
• Cervicometry
• Dopplerometry of the uteroplacental and fetoplacental blood flow
