History of the Department of Science and Vocational Education
The Department of Science and Vocational Education was reorganized in 2021 in order to conduct applied and basic scientific research, develop new methods of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention in the field of medicine and public health, and to create a permanent, sustainable, innovative and effective system of continuous professional development for medical and non-medical personnel.
Mission of the Department of Science and Vocational Education
The development and implementation of new methods of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention in the Hospital, by using the results of scientific research conducted by specialists of the Department of Science and Vocational Education and practicing physicians of the Hospital.
Vision
Implementation of significant scientific research in the field of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of diseases with technology transfer to health care organizations.
Goal – achievement and supporting a high level of professional education of personnel to provide highly qualified medical care based on the results of applied and basic scientific research.
Objectives in the field of science:
Carrying out current research work in the field of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of diseases, training of specialists and transfer of modern medical technologies.
Priority areas of research:
Development and implementation of new methods of diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of diseases of:
- respiratory organs
- cardiovascular system
- ophthalmologic area
- gastrointestinal organs
- malignant tumors
- photodynamic therapy
1) Implementation of the main provisions of state policy in the field of professional development and professional growth of medical personnel at the Hospital.
2) Coordination of educational activities.
3) Organization, provision and implementation of educational activities, assistance in improving the professional level of the Hospital staff.
