Medical Center Hospital of the President’s affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan received the highest category of national accreditation

Medical Center Hospital of the President’s affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan has successfully passed the quality assessment in health care conducted by the Accreditation Center. The Hospital was awarded the highest category of national accreditation, and all units and process in the organization were assessed according to national standards. Founded in 1997 after the capital of Kazakhstan moved to Astana, the hospital is a leading multidisciplinary organization providing a wide range of medical services, from primary care to high-tech surgeries and rehabilitation. All doctors and medical staff who work here undergo a strict selection process to meet international standards and are constantly being trained and upgrading their qualifications.

Since 2018, the Personalized Genomic Diagnostics Laboratory, which uses NGS technologies to detect genetic predisposition to diseases, diagnose and treat oncological diseases, has been successfully operating at the Hospital. This year, the laboratory was the first in Kazakhstan to introduce a prenatal test, with the help of which Down syndrome can be detected with 99% accuracy starting from the 10th week of pregnancy.

In 2018, the International Center for Robotic Surgery was opened in Kazakhstan, which performs operations in urology, gynecology and surgery with the help of a robotic assistant.

Nuclear Medicine Center of the Hospital is equipped with PET/CT and SPECT/CT for diagnostics and control of complex diseases. 7 different radiopharmaceuticals based on fluorine, carbon and gallium are produced to detect oncology. This year, for the first time in the country, the Center introduced a unique radionuclide therapy, which treats metastases in the bones of cancer patients.

Since 2021, a Check-up diagnostic department has been functioning, which allows for quick check-ups designed in accordance with modern international standards.
