The Chief Allergologist and Nephrologist of the Hospital took part in the congress in Moscow
The first interregional congress on immunology and allergology was held in Russia, attended by leading international specialists. Kazakhstan was represented by Galiya Tussupbekova, chief allergist and immunologist of the Hospital, head of the Allergy Center, and Aizhan Sarsenbayeva, a general practitioner, nephrologist, head of the Autoimmune Diseases Center.
Current important issues concerning allergology, immunology and genetics, modern research and treatment methods were discussed at the Congress.
During the event Galiya Tussupbekova shared the experience of UCARE Reference Center - international centers of excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic urticaria. It is important to note that the Allergy Center was certified by GA2LEN-UCARE in February 2024 and is a member of the international association.
In turn, nephrologist Aizhan Sarsenbayeva shared a clinical case with a very rare disease “Kimura's disease within hypereosinophilic syndrome”, which was first diagnosed at the MC Hospital in 2023.
The lectures raised the interest of the audience and the topic was comprehensively analyzed. Participation in such congresses determines the professional degree of doctors. Doctors of the Hospital regularly travel abroad, exchange experience with colleagues, acquire new knowledge and skills.
