THE PRESIDENTIAL HOSPITAL PARTICIPATED IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HEALTH TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT “2022 HTAI ANNUAL MEETING”

The 2022 HTAi Annual Meeting, an international conference on health technology assessment, was held on June 25-29, 2022, in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and was attended by more than 1,000 researchers from 60 countries. The conference aims to promote the development, understanding and use of health technology assessment worldwide as a means of stimulating innovation and efficient use of resources in health care.

The Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented 4 poster reports and own experience in hospital assessment of health technologies and clinical and economic analysis in such clinical areas as traumatology and orthopedics, proctology, neurology and oncology was presented.

Andrey Avdeyev, head of the Center for Health Technology Assessment and Strategic Development, who has more than 10 years of experience in health technology assessment, presented the reports.

The Presidential Hospital has effectively implemented a system of hospital health technology assessment since 2015 and is a full member of the international working group for the development of this area. The experience and initiatives of the clinic were highly appreciated by international experts and will be published in the international peer-reviewed journal on technology assessment in health care (International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care).
