Medical Center Hospital of the President’s affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Recognized for Meeting International Service Standards

The Medical Center Hospital of the President’s affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan has once again confirmed its compliance with international standards by successfully undergoing the Joint Commission International (JCI) reaccreditation process.

JCI accreditation is the most objective and prestigious international certification in the field of healthcare, regarded as the "gold standard" of quality. It confirms that a medical institution meets international clinical and administrative standards, as well as global patient safety goals.

This marks the fourth time that the Hospital has reaffirmed its commitment to patient safety and continuous quality improvement in accordance with international standards.

The audit, conducted by a JCI international expert commission from the United States, confirmed the high level of professional qualification of the hospital’s physicians and nursing staff. More than 1,100 criteria were assessed according to JCI standards, covering all departments and organizational processes — from physician care and nursing services to building safety, infection control, medication management, patient rights, and staffing.

To date, over 1,000 public and private healthcare organizations in more than 60 countries worldwide are accredited according to JCI standards — including the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The hospital received its initial accreditation in 2016, followed by successful reaccreditations in 2019, 2022, and 2025.
