Doctors from the MC Hospital of the PAA of the RK performed 9 complex operations on the first day of their working visit to the Karaganda region

As part of the “Days of the Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” qualified doctors from the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan completed the first day of their working visit to the Karaganda region.

According to the program schedule, Deputy Director for Surgery, neurosurgeon of the highest category Mynzhylky Berdikhodzhayev performed 3 complex operations: “Stenting intracranial stenosis of the right vertebral artery” and 2 of them “Stenting intracranial stenosis of the left internal carotid artery.” He also held 6 consultations with patients and gave 1 presentation to 20 medical staff. 

Chief of the Surgery department No. 4 (urology) Bakhtiyar Kassymov and urologist Aigul Abdrakhmanova performed 3 successful operations to remove renal gravel through a puncture using the “mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy” method.

General surgeons Talgat Urazov and Anton Li performed 2 operations: “Mini-gastrobypass” and “Laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication”, and also provided 2 consultations.

Arman Nagumanov, an otolaryngologist, performed 1 operation: “Endoscopic sinusotomy with removal of polyps”.

The chief gastroenterologist of the Hospital, Bakytzhan Bimbetov, gave a presentation online and offline, which 40 medical workers came to listen to. At the same time, on the same day, the doctor provided 12 consultations to patients.

The chief of the Allergy Center, Galiya Tussupbekova, shared her experience with doctors in the region, giving a presentation on the topic: “Allergic diseases in the practice of GPs. Indications for allergy diagnostics”, and also consulted 13 patients.

Chief endocrinologist Gulmira Tuksaitova held 2 training lectures for endocrinologists in the region and provided 11 consultations.

The head of the Check-up department, Zhazira Tungyshbayeva, gave 2 educational presentations on the topics: “Possibilities of the outpatient service of the MCH” and “Work of the Check-up department”, which 44 medical workers came to listen to.

40 listeners came to listen to the presentation by pulmonologist of Internal medicine department No. 4 Madina Yesengeldinova on the topic: “Current combination of long-acting bronchodilators. Updated GOLD 2023 recommendations”. The doctor also provided 9 consultations to the patients.

An important event of the first day of the working visit was the signing of the Memorandum on Mutual Cooperation between the Medical Center of the PAA of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Karaganda region’s Akimat, which will allow residents of the region to receive free consultations with doctors, as well as, if necessary, treatment for seriously ill patients. In addition, the agreement involves the exchange of experience in the field of training the region’s medical personnel in innovative technologies, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as the introduction of new medical technologies.
