SPECIALISTS OF MEDICAL CENTER HOSPITAL OF THE PRESIDENT’S AFFAIRS ADMINISTRATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN ATTENDED THE 5th ASIAN SURGICAL ULTRASOUND SOCIETY CONGRESS (ASUS 2022)

Nasrulla Shanazarov, Deputy Director for Strategic Development, Science and Education, Kairat Kazbekov, Head of Center for Interaction with partner clinics, Nurzhan Klyshbekov, surgeon of Admission Department, Timur Iskendirov, vascular surgeon of Surgery Department took part in the 5th Asian Surgical Ultrasound Society Congress ASUS 2022.

The Hospital presented 4 reports (1 oral, 3 poster reports). According to the results of the Congress, the poster report of Timur Iskendirov was awarded with a prize. In total, more than 200 doctors from Korea, Kazakhstan, China, India, Mongolia, Japan, Philippines, Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and others participated in the Congress.

As part of the visit, specialists also visited the following leading hospitals in the Republic of Korea: Asan Medical Centre, Severance Hospital, Samsung Medical Centre, H+YANGJI Clinic, and RF Medical, a manufacturer of medical equipment. The activities of the Medical Centre Hospital were presented. During the visit, specialists from the Hospital were trained in the use of radiofrequency ablation equipment in clinical practice.

As a result of visits to leading clinics in the Republic of Korea, it was agreed to continue cooperation within the framework of existing Memorandums and subsequently to conclude Partnership Memorandums, and options for joint research activities were also considered.
