Visit of the AV Medical Group Clinic Delegation

For the purpose of cooperation and development of partnership relations of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan with foreign clinics, in the framework of the project “Clinic in Clinic” on August 25, a delegation from the clinic AV Medical Group (Russia, Saint Petersburg) paid a visit.

The delegation included representatives of AV Medical Group - Timur Andabekov, head of department, oncologist, Maria Rodina, head of department, chief doctor, Yelena Napolskaya, medical oncologist. 

During the visit, the parties signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation. The Memorandum provides for mutual exchange of best practices in clinical medicine, organization and conduct of joint clinical research, implementation of scientific and clinical projects, including joint preparation of publications and articles, academic exchange of specialists, information, holding joint scientific forums, round tables, conferences and etc.

During the meeting the features of international clinical trials in Russia and Kazakhstan, including the possibility of participation of the Hospital in international clinical trials as a performer was discussed. 

As a result of the official visit, an agreement was reached to consider the possibility of partnership with AV Medical Group in terms of implementation of joint international clinical trials, training of hospital staff in international clinical trials management at AV Medical Group, opportunities for young specialists of the Hospital, including residents, to participate in international grants in the field of health, etc.
