TWICE AS MANY PATIENTS CAN BE TREATED AT THE PRESIDENTIAL HOSPITAL

Soon a new 200-beds treatment and diagnostic unit will be opened at the Presidential Hospital. It will feature the following profiles: therapy, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology and cardiology. The specialists of the new unit will rehabilitate patients after strokes, myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery and orthopedic surgeries. Patients can receive a full cycle of therapeutic and diagnostic assistance. This includes diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation.

The diagnostic base of the new therapeutic unit will be represented by a range of expert-class medical equipment. The technologies presented here has no analogues in Kazakhstan and in some cases in the CIS. This will allow to expand the diagnostic capabilities and diagnose the most complex patients.

The medical staff of the new unit undergoes strict qualification requirements and is trained in the best clinics of the near and far abroad.

More than 8,000 patients are treated at the Presidential Hospital each year. Since the introduction of the unified national health care system, more and more Kazakhstanis choose treatment at the Presidential Hospital. Doubling the Hospital’s bed capacity will allow it to cover even more patients.
