Results of the visit of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan doctors to Mangistau region: 8 surgeries, 23 medical consultations, 9 lectures

Visit “Days of Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Mangistau region”, during which doctors from Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan performed 8 surgeries, 23 patient consultations, 9 lectures, which has been visited by 94 doctors of the region, has come to an end.

Mynzhylky Berdikhodzhayev, Deputy Director for Surgery of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Highest Category Neurosurgeon had conducted 17 medical consultations for residents of the region.

Arsen Tusupbayev, Chief of Endoscopy Department, had performed 2 endoscopy surgeries on the first day of the visit and read one lecture, attended by 10 persons. On the second day, he made 2 presentations with 12 listeners and 3 patient consultations.

Adil Adreshev, physician of Surgery Unit No 8 (gynecology) had performed 6 complicated gynecological surgeries.

Gulshara Abildinova, Chief Personalized Genomic Diagnostics Laboratory made 2 presentations, themed: “Genetic studies at oncological diseases for selecting targeted therapy” and “Contemporary methods of genetic pathology diagnosis” for 50 attendees.

Aizhan Sarsenbayeva, Chief of Internal Medicine Department No.5 (therapy, rheumatology, nephrology) and Altyn Nurpeisova, Head of Clinical-Pharmacological Department had conducted 4 presentations. 22 healthcare professionals attended the event to share experience. Also, doctors provided 3 consultations to patients.

The final event of the visit was signing a Memorandum on Mutual Cooperation had been signed between Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mangistau region Akimat, that will enable region’s residents to receive treatment for severe patients. Besides, the agreement provides for sharing experience in training region’s medical personnel in innovative technologies, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as implementation of new medical technologies.

It is worth reminding that “Days of Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan” had already been held in 7 regions of the country, where doctors had successfully performed a number of complicated surgeries, provided consultative assistance to population and shared unique surgical methods with region’s doctors.
