PARTNERSHIP ROUNDTABLE WITH LEADING PROFESSORS FROM THE CARDIOLOGY CENTER OF LEIPZIG UNIVERSITY WAS HELD AT THE MEDICAL CENTER HOSPITAL

A partnership roundtable with leading professors of the Cardiology Center at the University of Leipzig on “New approaches in the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure” was held at the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Prof. Dr. Sandra Eifert and the head of the cardiac surgery department Prof. Dr. Sergei Leontiyev presented the latest therapeutic and surgical solutions for the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure. The issues of managing patients with this pathology, peculiarities of the latest international recommendations for diagnosis and treatment, as well as cardiac rehabilitation were also discussed at the roundtable.

Raushan Karabayeva, Deputy Director for Clinical Care, Nasrulla Shanazarov, Deputy Director for Strategic Development Science and Education and clinicians of cardiology, cardiac surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, vascular surgery, functional diagnostics departments and specialized professionals of the outpatient care actively participated on behalf of the Hospital.

The clinical exchange of experience with the leading specialists of the Leipzig Cardiology Center will be continued, the transfer of new technologies in cardiac surgery for minimally invasive and endovascular treatment of chronic valve failure in patients with chronic heart failure, as well as joint analysis of complex clinical cases will be planned.
