II Russian Diagnostic Summit

Zhanna Zhabakova, a geneticist of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in II Russian Diagnostic Summit, which was held from 6 to 8 September in Moscow.

Zhanna Zhabakova made a report on “Multigenicdiagnosis of solid tumors”. In her speech she described her experience in multigenic diagnosis of solid tumors at the Personalized Genomic Diagnostics Laboratory(LGDL) of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is necessary component for the prescription of targeted therapy. Comparative analysis included comparison of recommended mutational biomarkers according to ESCAT scale and detected mutations after diagnosis. The report was prepared in co-authorship with Gulshara Abildinova, MD, professor, chief consultant geneticist of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
