About the Department

Admission Department of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located on the 1^st floor, Block A3, main treatment building and hospitalizes patients in planned and emergency inpatient departments. The Department has registration desk, procedure room, surgeon’s examination room, patient follow-up room, and a box for isolation of a patient with a suspected infectious disease. The rest of the rooms are auxiliary.

The admission department plays a key role in making the initial diagnosis, determining the severity of the condition and deciding whether the patient should be hospitalized. Indications for hospitalization are the need for qualified, specialized medical care and high-tech medical services with round-the-clock medical supervision. In a short time, the doctor should assess the symptoms, examine the patient and prescribe a minimum of diagnostic procedures to clarify the diagnosis more quickly. Correct diagnosis and effective treatment that leads to recovery in a short period of time - these requirements are nowadays demanded not only by the health care system, but also by patients themselves.

Equipment of the Department: ECG, defibrillator, perfuser, inhalation apparatus - nebulizer, observation monitors, ICU beds, scales, height meter, blood pressure monitor, blood glucose meter. There are stacks for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, emergency care, a stack for working in the conditions of especially dangerous infection. There are sets of disposable syringes and systems, sterile instruments, solutions and medicines for emergency care of patients.

The Department has registration desk, procedure room, examination rooms of general physician, cardiologist, and a box for isolation of a patient with a suspected infectious disease. The rest of the rooms are auxiliary.
