In the Medical Centre Hospital of President’s Affairs Administration of the RK was conducted master-class for CT and MRI doctors on the topic: "Application of Medrad Spectris Solaris injector when using different contrast techniques". Doctors of the Hospital, representatives from city and regional clinics of the Republic took part.

The master class was conducted by Vladimir Fokin, M.D., professor of Radiation Diagnostics and Medical Imaging Department FSI “National Medical Research Center named after V.A. Almazov”, Ministry of Health of Russia (St. Petersburg, Russia).

In the new therapeutic building of the Medical Center Hospital, a 1.5 Tesla Canon MRI machine with an automatic injector for introducing contrast agents put in operation. The master class included practical training on the MRI and examination of 2 patients with brain pathologies with subsequent analysis and discussion.

CT and MRI physicians listened to a report of Vladimir Fokin on "Contrast techniques in MRI to obtain anatomical and functional information. Advantages of unimolar MRCM". The specialists studied the methodology and technique of contrasting with further application in practice: to assess the dynamics of pathological processes, including tumors; new opportunities in the diagnosis of functional circulatory disorders; differential diagnosis of benign and malignant tumors.
