The opening of a new modern Treatment and Diagnostic Block of at the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the participation of Alexey Tsoy, the CEO of the Medical Center of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic.

The new block of the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan has 7 therapeutic departments with personalized approaches to treatment and rehabilitation of patients with complex diseases: pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology and cardiology.

The Treatment and Diagnostics Block of the Hospital is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art medical equipment, which allows an expanded range of various diagnostic procedures and treatments for patients coming from different regions of the country.

The Hospital’s capabilities have expanded significantly with the acquisition of the latest expert-class equipment, including 640 slice CT, MRI machines, modern X-ray and ultrasound units, and a mammograph with tomosynthesis function.

In the near future, we plan to open a Pulmonology Center to treat patients with severe forms of respiratory diseases, including autoimmune and rare diseases. The Neurology Department will implement innovative approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of a number of complex diseases – Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, myasthenia, autoimmune encephalitis. Rehabilitation therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and neurologists will introduce new approaches to medical care for patients with severe neurological deficits and improve their quality of life and prolong their ability to work.

Treatment of severe forms of heart failure, rhythm disorders, coronary heart disease, using personalized treatment and rehabilitation programs will be performed in the Cardiology Department.

The specialists of the Therapeutic Department are able to diagnose and treat inflammatory diseases of the intestines, pancreas, and liver. In addition, prepare patients for transplantation and dynamically monitor them in the post-transplantation period.

The increase of hospital beds capacity from 200 to 400 will increase the volume of quality of inpatient, therapeutic and surgical care by 2 times and cover up to 8,000 Kazakhstani people per year (from 9,600 to 20,000 treated cases per year).

Alexey Tsoy familiarized himself with the work of the new treatment and diagnostic block and talked to the first patients. He also noted that medical services will be available to Kazakhstanis both under Compulsory Social Health Insurance and statutory free medical assistance, as well as on a paid basis.
