Pre-Congress of the XIV International Congress of the Kazakhstan Association of Reproductive Medicine “Modern approaches to infertility treatment. Assisted Reproductive Technology: Present and Future”

On November 10, 2022 the Pre-Congress of the XIV International Congress of the Kazakhstan Association of Reproductive Medicine “Modern approaches to infertility treatment. Assisted Reproductive Technology: Present and Future” took place at Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will take place on November 11-12.  

The organizer of the congress is the Kazakhstan Association of Reproductive Medicine, with the support of Astana Medical University and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan Association of Reproductive Medicine (KARM) was established on October 2, 2008 similar to existing associations in CIS countries and Europe. It unites specialists of obstetricians-gynecologists, andrologists, embryologists, geneticists and psychologists who are engaged in the treatment of infertile marriage. KARM is an associate member of the European Consortium of Human Reproduction.

The pre-congress opening and welcoming speech was given to Rustam Albayev, Director of Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration. The Director of the Hospital expressed his gratitude to the moderators of the session: Vyacheslav Lokshin, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alexander Popov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Talgat Kudaibergenov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, invited speakers and noted the importance of the Congress.

Today our Hospital successfully performs surgical treatment for various forms of endometriosis. In particular, laparoscopic surgeries for adenomyosis, endometrioid ovarian cysts, infiltrative forms of endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and others. The work on treatment of patients with infertility in endometriosis is successfully carried out. 

The surgical treatment of endometriosis is performed using modern medical equipment, as well as a robot-assisted surgical system. The specialists of our clinic are qualified enough to treat such patients. They are regularly trained in Kazakhstan clinics, as well as clinics in the near and far abroad.

The Congress will traditionally bring together leading Kazakhstani and world experts to raise again important issues of infertility and reproductive health in Kazakhstan, to discuss the availability of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including in vitro fertilization (IVF).

During the Congress, there was a live broadcast of surgeries performed at the Hospital by leading specialists from Almaty, Russia and Georgia.
