Preventive Treatment Department
The Preventive Treatment Department is the structural subdivision of the outpatient department of the RSE MC Hospital of the PAA of the RK.
The Department is staffed with specialists: general physicians, gynaecologists, ophthalmologists, neurologist, ENT doctor, surgeons, and dentist.
The specialists passed training in the CIS and other foreign countries: Russia, Israel, Turkey, Korea, USA.
The Department includes an electrocardiography room and a blood sampling room.
The main tsk of the Preventive Treatment Department:
Conducting comprehensive preventive medical examination (CPME) of attached population. Opportune diagnosis and early detection of diseases, prevention of their exacerbation and complication.
Comprehensive preventive medical examinations of attached population are conducted in accordance with Order of the MC of the PAA of the RK No. 38 dated 12.04.2010 “On comprehensive preventive medical examinations of government employees and certain categories of citizens attached to the Medical Centre”.
Rules of conducting comprehensive preventive medical examinations are developed in accordance with the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 18 September 2009 “On Public Health and Health Care System”, the State Program for the development of healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Salamatty Kazakhstan” for 2011-2015, Order of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 16 March 2011 No. 145 “On making amendments to Orders of Acting Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 10 November 2009 No. 685 “On approval of the Rules of conducting comprehensive preventive medical examinations of target groups of population” and establish the procedure and frequency of conducting comprehensive preventive medical examinations (hereinafter the “CPME”) of government employees and certain categories of citizens attached to the Medical Centre.
The CPME includes:
1) Arranging and conducting of annual CPME of attached persons with the participation of specialized doctors, conducting of laboratory and instrumental tests within the scope approved by Order No. 38 of the MC of the PAA of the RK;
2) Conducting of additional investigations and examinations by doctors of other specialties when indicated: D-III dispensary record group, socially significant diseases risk group (oncological diseases, tuberculosis, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases);
3) Detection of risk factors contributing to the occurrence and development of diseases;
4) Arranging and conducting of preventive control measures to prevent the development of occupational, socially significant and other diseases of the attached population.
The statutory CPME scope is dependent on the age group with subsequent data record in the outpatient card and includes: general physician examination with collection of medical history data, anthropomorphic measurements (height, body weight, waist circumference), measurement of blood pressure; oncopathology examination by specialized doctors: surgeon, gynecologist; palpation of thyroid body; ophthalmologist, dentist, neurologist, and ENT doctor examination.
The general physician prepares medical reports according to results of CPME specialists examination and tests, when necessary refers for advice to other specialists, and conducts additional tests.
Physician of the Preventive Treatment Department ensures consistency of work with other specialists, determines patient’s group of health, conducts selection of patients subject to follow-up care.
