Information Technologies Department

The Information Technologies Department is the structural subdivision of the RSE Medical Centre Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the RK. The staff of the Department includes 14 persons: Head of the Department, Senior programmer engineer – 2 persons, Engineer-programmer – 5 persons, Software engineer – 5 persons and one Software technician. 

Goal of the Department: introduction and maintenance of information complexes for the purpose of IT development of the Hospital.

Objectives:

  • Monitoring of software introduction for the purpose of IT development of the Hospital;

  • Organization of introduction of information complex’ components;

  • Introduction of software in the area of IT development of the health care system by order of the Hospital;

  • Informational support;

  • Technical consultation on information system’s components;

  • Preparation of guidance materials for software maintenance.

Functions

Research and methodology:

  • Design of IT development concept of the Hospital in accordance with its human capacity and technical potential, profile and special features;

  • Preparation of technical documents under projects in the area of IT development of the health care system by order of the Hospital.

Instructional and methodological: consulting and training of employees in the area of use of IT resources in everyday activity on the basis of IT systems used by the Hospital.

Organizational and managerial:

1. Long-term planning (in coordination with the administration) on the basis of the analysis of situation in the following areas:

Purchase of software products for the IT development;

Implementation of projects in the IT area;

Introduction of priority lines of the use of IT resources in medical care process.

2. Control of: purchase of IT software products, compliance with technical requirements to IT resources operating modes.

Informational and analytical:

  • Monitoring and analysis of the IT development situation in the health care and managerial activity;

  • Monitoring of preparation and use of IT resources in the health care activity;

  • Participation in the development, introduction, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the quality management system of the Hospital in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and JCI requirements.
